I am submitting this Ureport on behalf of Upland Brewing. Pete Batule of Upland Brewing contacted me on 10-5-18 to say that Upland has been experiencing significant issues with odor coming from the storm drains on the north side of 11th street directly in front of Upland's patio. The odor is having a negative impact on their patio dining customers. Here is background on the issue as provided by Mr. Batule: Upland has had ongoing issues over the last few years with odors near the patio. They installed a piece of equipment above their lift station (the Peacemaker) next to the patio to neutralize the smell coming from the lift station. It wasn’t until the Peacemaker was installed that they suspected most of the odor was coming from the storm drains. Phil Peden has done some investigation on the storm drains. He noted there is an illicit connection tying to the north side of the storm box. Phil doesn't believe it is tied to a toilet because there isn't paper in it, but perhaps is related to byproduct or a wash drain/sink coming from elsewhere. Upland has dye tested their facility and found no evidence that the connection on the north side of the storm box is connected to their facilities. The odor comes on very strong at times to the point where they have to relocate customers. They notice an increase in odor around times when it rains and storm drain activity increases. there is a pothole in the alley between 714 and 718 W Kirkwood Avenue. People are now driving in my yard at 718 to avoid. I would appreciate if this can be fixed to minimize damage to my yard. Thank you!

We have recently purchased the home at 835 Sheridan Dr. Bloomington. I would like to pay the water bill for this online as we are not fully moved there yet. The sidewalk ends abruptly in a very dangerous intersection. This turn needs to be improved for pedestrian safety. The sidewalk should not be on only one side of the road, particularly in such a dangerous location for pedestrians to cross the road, just to have the sidewalk reappear only meters away.

This sidewalk is uneven and cracked and makes it impossible to wheel anything on the pavement. The ground is covered in dirt and leaves which makes passage in the rain hazardous. It also floods in the rain.

This entire sidewalk is covered in dirt and leaves which makes the ground slippery when wet. The sidewalk floods when there is rain which renders parts of the sidewalk impassable. There is also excessive growth from most of the foliage on the side of the sidewalk. The sidewalk is also uneven and broken; you can not wheel anything on the pavement and have to walk in the road.

There is mud all the way down the alley that is being tracked by foot traffic and vehicles. The mud is being tracked into the Cantol Wax building by the residents. It is also being tracked onto the city sidewalks leaving the alley due to Miller Pipeline working on the gas lines in the alley. 211 N Washington St

Original U-Report case #165949 Excessive Growth: Vegetation is growing over the sidewalk on the Maple Street side of house. Sidewalk is impassible the entire length. You have to walk out in the street. Looks terrible and is a safety issue. It's been 16 days since I reported this and the case is still open. Just wondering if this fell through the cracks? Thanks.
