A few of the street signs at this intersection have been stolen (two blocks directly east is a notorious fraternity living in an apartment complex). There is currently no indication of the street names and also no sign informing drivers that Cottage Grove is one-way west.

When W 6th St was repaved they left some utility access places (sometimes called "manholes") lower than the street surface. These could easily bend a bicycle wheel and could cause a cyclist to be injured. There are one or more of these in each block in the 500, 600, & 700 blocks. Some are near the north curb and are sometimes (but not always) covered by parked cars, and some are in the westbound driving lane.

In mid June there was heavy storm damage on my property. Insurance company involved. A utility pole had to be replaced, but there are still a lot of cables on my property: in my fence, hanging from my trees, in my yard south of the fenced in area. My understanding is that the cables are Comcast (according to AT&T). I have contacted Comcast multiple times and filed a complaint against them with the attorney general this afternoon.
When Duke came to replace the utility pole they didn't remove all of the metal security cables. They also didn't fill in the area around the pole enough. There is a big hole next to the new pole. There are exposed wires on it as well. Basically, it looks like an electrical hazard and it has kept me from cleaning up the tree that fell, do yard work, spend time with my family & dog in the backyard due to potential danger.
I know this isn't an issue with City of Bloomington to address, but if you could help or advise on how to expedite the cable cleanup and make sure the utility poles are secure, straight, and that all surrounding wires are high enough on the poles I would really appreciate it. I'm kind of at a loss as to who else I should contact to get this stuff taken care of. Thanks!

The sidewalk has a severe depression that collects rain (and ice in the winter), often to a depth of 3 or 4 inches. The problem started last year immediately after the area was reconstructed with new grass on either side. Someone did not think about the consequences of building grass higher than the level of a sidewalk that is not level.
