The tree in question is located on city land outside of my property boundary at 1301 W. 8th Street in Bloomington. The broken limb is specifically situated at the intersection of Adams Street and 8th Street, where there is a significant amount of pedestrian traffic. The footpath visible in the attached picture is frequently used by pedestrians crossing from the sidewalk on Adams Street onto 8th Street. The presence of the broken tree limb in this area creates a potential safety hazard for pedestrians. Additionally, there is a slight concern that the broken limb obstructs the view of the Adams Street bridge for drivers turning right onto Adams Street from Fountain. This obstruction may affect the visibility of oncoming traffic, potentially leading to traffic incidents or delays. I kindly request that the relevant department of Bloomington takes immediate action to address this issue. It is crucial to ensure the safety of pedestrians and motorists in the area by removing the broken tree limb and conducting any necessary tree maintenance or inspection. A Park’s personnel was using a leaf blower on the Pickleball courts at 8:30 in the morning. She spent 15 minutes on each court with people playing pickle ball. Felt like this was way too long to spend on each court. The noise was incredibly loud for us trying to play And the courts did not look like they needed a meticulous cleaning . Thanks

Our street sign at Prospect/Jackson is loose hanging askew. I climbed up on a ladder, and it looks like the bolts need to be replaced/tightened. Thank you for your attention!

The trees and invasives (honeysuckle, etc. from this yard is growing over the their fence into my yard at 611 Clover Terrace. This stuff needs to be removed. I don't want these invasive species over in my yard.

Please trim a few limbs at the bottom of the tree in front of the power and communications boxes to the left of the driveway. This will allow mowing the lawn without ducking

Please create more shade at Switchyard Park near the playground and splash pad. I was there with a young child and a baby this weekend, and it was impossible to keep the baby in shade while still having a view of the child on the playground or on the splash pad. The grates above the swings do not offer shade, and both shelters were being used by groups/parties. There should be shade structures at the playground and alongside the splash pad. I encountered a number of people with the same complaint.

There is a pedestrian activated crossing from the Switchyard park over to the B-Link Trail on South Walnut. Activating the signal triggers a red light for traffic on South Walnut, but I constantly have issues here with traffic blowing through the red light, often at high speeds. Is there anything that can be done to make this crossing safer for pedestrians and cyclists?

(Note: This is the third time that I have sent this report. Now, the trash has not been taken out for five weeks. Please help to rectify this.) The owner of this renter-occupied building (Tariq Khan) has not taken the garbage out to the curb for pickup in four weeks. Also, this home has rain gutters and downspouts that go directly into the ground or into areas between the home and neighboring houses - which is causing water damage to the neighboring houses.

There is almost no shade at all in the Switchyard playground. I understand, of course, that nothing can be done in terms of tree cover until the recently-planted ones grow and create more shade, but why in the world do the metal slats above the wooden benches along the west side of the playground not have some kind of canopy over them? They don't block sun or rain and seem to be completely useless. We love Switchyard but it's really inconvenient to not have any shade or rain protection over at least part of the park. I can't imagine it would be very expensive to install some kind of canvas cover above the slats, at the very least.
