The property owner has created a parking space by pouring gravel on the ground at the intersection of the alleys. There were two vehicles parked on the gravel this last weekend, and a total of seven vehicles parked on the property.
Empty trash cans being left by the street
We live at 1029 S. Dunn Street and the area around the perimeter of our home on the corner of Davis and Dunn is overgrown and covering speed limit signs and access to the fire hydrant. I was hoping that the City could help cut this back as we do not have the equipment to do so. Thanks!
I received a follow up call from a HAND inspector on August 17 regarding overgrowth behind the new apartment complex at 714 North Walnut. She indicated that the project manager would have the overgrowth cleaned up possibly by the end of the week. It's now almost 2 weeks later and this area still hasn't been cleaned up.
City says lawn is not yet 8". I measured and it is >12". This property owner neglects the property and should be fined until he learns to regularly cut his lawn.
New tenants have been parking too close to street on driveway so that they are blocking the sidewalk.
trash cans left out days after pick-up on E. Dodds St. between Washington and Henderson.
Blue spray paint on our front steps. Says "fuck cops"
There was evidence that someone is trying to live in the woods on the northern section of the NL trail at Griffy Lake. I hiked parked of this trail 8/26/16 and saw what seemed to be the beginnings of a make shift shelter as well as various Styrofoam to go containers scattered throughout this part of the trail. There was a man who was clearly not on a recreational hike on the NL trail who we saw multiple times before we decided to turn back and head towards the NS trail. The man had long brown hair, was clearly dirty and smelled strongly. He was young (less than 40 years old). We saw him several times on different parts of the NL trail and it was clear he was not hiking the trail in a linear fashion (possibly going of trail to cut to a different part?). The presence of this man plus the food containers/shelter seemed very suspicious and VERY unsafe for recreational hikers. Please have someone take a look out there to clean up the trash/take down the shelter. I have a attached an image marking the location of the food/shelter. Feel free to contact me with additional questions/concerns.
