When I try to pull out of the Walnut St. parking lot for switchyard park onto Walnut St. there are always big tow trucks blocking my view of traffic to the north and I think there is a big limestone sign maybe marking Switchyard Park itself blocking my view to the south, so that I have to pull out fully blocking the sidewalk to see if it is safe to turn onto Walnut. I think it might be necessary for some cars to even stick into the roadway a little before they can see traffic approaching, especially bikers on the sidewalk, which is sort of common between this lot and Miller Drive

The grass in northern part of Bryan park appears to be wet. I saw water coming out of the ground near the basketball court. There are puddles in some places and in most places the grass is just soaking wet. Since there is no active rain, I thought that amount of water is unuy. And the water coming out of the ground could indicate a water leak. I attached a picture of the hole I saw. There is water coming out of it. But I couldn't attach a video from it here.

Hi, I don’t know if the parks department or city cares much about it but there are large patches of Japanese knotweed growing along the trail. It's a tricky plant to get rid of and requires strategic doses of herbicide at specific stages in it's life cycle and for multiple years. Y'all might already be aware and I've chatted with a lady working on other invasives along the trail. I live in Broadview 2nd and have been keeping my eyes out for it to keep it out of the neighborhood. I just wanted to bring it to someone's attention. The subreddit for invasive species seems to have the most up to date methods of attack and discussion I've found. Cutting it down only makes it angry and dig in/spread more. Well done! Those black gum trees up near the workout equipment in Bryan Park look very nice---color now (and again later in the fall, I assume)

Bryan Park, north side, near Stull Avenue parking lot, one if the newly planted sapling has been knocked sideways . Needs to be straightened.(Sidenote: is that an Osage orange? The roots are orange).
