MR. CARRICO HAS A HOUSE AT 1231 S FESS, THE CORNER OF FESS & BRENDA AVENUE. FESS AVENUE HAD WORK DONE AND THE STREET NOW SLOPES IN SUCH A WAY THAT ALL THE WATER DRAINS INTO THE BASEMENT AT 1231. THE STORM DRAIN IS ON THE HIGH SIDE OF THE STREET. MR. CARRICO HAS INSTALLED A RETAINING WALL AND WAS GOING TO BACK DIRT UP TO THE WALL, BUT THE CONTRACTOR STATED THAT THIS WOULD NOT PREVENT THE WATER FROM GOING INTO THE BASEMENT.

The janitor @ Broadview Elementary School called to say one of the children from the KC Outdoor camp had been left @ in the restroom at the school. The parent called about 20 minutes later to see what was going to be done about the situation.
