Please see attached photo. This location is at 10th and Park and has been reported to the IU Grounds Dept. as a tripping hazard. The gray bucket is there to indicate a bus pickup for the Boy Scouts that are in town but the metal and the sandbags are blocking the sidewalk, our crews moved the items off the sidewalk and into the homeowners yard. People have been camping in the shelter houses at 9th St. Park for several weeks, if not months. I've been reluctant to officially report it but over the last week it's become a bit more permanent. And also a bit unruly.
Four city issued trash and recycling containers belonging to 802 W 7th still on sidewalk 24 hours after trash/recycling pickup. Blocking sidewalk on Maple Street at W 7th.
Last year, the section of the sidewalk at Washington and Cottage Grove was replaced, but the workers left a trench in the road that collects water and breeds mosquitos. I couldn't help but notice when similar work was done this summer on 10th street and a layer of pavement was laid alongside the sidewalk to fill the trench there. Probably just an oversight but it'd be nice to get this job completed.
Tall plantings on NW corner of S Fess/Maxwell corner making it very difficult to pull out safely on to Maxwell from Fess.
East 6th Street traffic stop at Dunn: there appears to be a stop sign, which I also believe had a 1 way and Do Not Enter sign on it, missing. Thanks!
FYI: a random, non-city employee man, who had a dog with him, was taking cans out of the recycling toters on my street this AM. In my opinion, this should be discouraged.
This has been an eyesore for too long. While mowing my property at 104 East Davis this weekend, I noticed that the Circle K property along the East alley has a place where the trash has now piled up, the alley is a mess from items that blow out of the Circle K dumpster and I noticed needles laying around and a bunch of empty alcohol bottles stacking up. It has become an eyesore on the neighborhood and I worry about kids finding these needles.
The green painted "bike box" and bike lane entering it are full of gravel and debris. It on the east bound lane of 7th Street just west of College - at the light for 7th.
