On Thursday afternoon, the storm brought down half of our huge sugar maple tree. It fell across the road closing Rockport Rd completely. Neighbors and my husband, Steve Cook, cut and cleared the road. Your road crew came by and put cones on either end of the sidewalk and said they would be back the next day to clear the sidewalk, but they did not come – no blame at all as we are sure they were plenty busy. We wanted to make sure there was a record of this work still needing to be done. Feel free to call and leave a message. An arborist will be coming to ascertain the rest of the tree and the removal of the giant from our yard, although with thunderstorms all Saturday, I don't expect it will be today. Thank you.

The overgrowth between the sidewalk and street on the NE corner of 2nd and Euclid blocks all the views of westbound traffic, creating a significant hazard. This occurs every year. The residents are apparently cultivating it. That overgrowth needs to be removed permanently.

Just curious if there was any discussion with city staff about the air quality being hazardous? I would like to recommend if possible to have restaurants restrict outside seating until air quality is better. Just like with the Covid-19 pandemic where the government shut down businesses, I believe the city should restrict where possible outdoor seating is available for the safety of public. Encouraging the public to wear mask outside.

Two young children are outside alone with 3 large dogs. One of the children was yanking on the dogs leashes and repeatedly beating the dogs with the leashes.
I’m mostly worried 1 or more of the dogs might attack if the girl keeps hitting them, but the dogs also look skinny and scared.
