                                           REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION NEEDED TO APPLY FOR

                       YOUR 2023-2024 RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD PARKING PERMIT BY STATUS

 

Homeowners:  Current utility bill with name of applicant and address, current vehicles registration, if over 65 then driver's license, if disabled a current copy of your state of Indiana ADA placard or copy of your ADA registered license plate. 

Tenant/renter:  Current copy of lease that states name of tenant/renter, the address of lease property, terms of the lease agreement with start and end dates, and the signature page of the landlord and tenants.  If over 65 then a driver's license or birth certificate , if disabled a current copy of  your state of Indiana ADA placard or copy of your ADA registered license plate.  Entire leases do not need to be submitted; pages of required information are acceptable.  Please Note:  Any document not in lease form will not be accepted

Greeks:  Current copy of vehicle registration and approved parking assignment by President on Greek letterhead in lieu of lease.

Collins: Current copy of vehicle registration and approved Collins assignment on IU letterhead in lieu of lease.

Online Portal Step 1 Permit Request:  To request a parking permit click on the checkmark button labeled Step 1 Residential Parking Permit Request on the bottom of the Parking Permit Portal page.

Online Portal Step 2 Permit Purchase:  After you receive your permit request approval email, click on the Get Permit button.

Please Note:  Permit applicant's name and address must be the same name and address on the tenant lease for a permit request to be approved.

Do you have a temporary registration (paper license plate)? If so, you will be issued a 30-day temporary parking permit.  Please go ahead and click and request a permit through the portal link above. Once you receive your permanent registration, you will need to download a copy of your new vehicle registration to customer.service@bloomington.in.gov. and we will mail you your permanent parking permit.

Sample of vehicle registrations: Insurance cards and title to vehicles will not be accepted. 

Sample of tenant leases: Information on the lease that is required: The tenant's full name, full address of property including zip code, the start and end date of the lease agreement, and signatures of both tenant and landlord. 

Sample of greek letters: Must be on fraternity/sorority letterhead no lists will be accepted.
