The Bloomington Economic Development Commission shall consist of five members appointed by the Mayor as follows: three of the members so appointed shall be selected by the Mayor; one shall be nominated by the Monroe County Council; and one shall be nominated by the Bloomington Common Council. The City Clerk shall promptly notify the officials required to make selections and nominations by this section. The officers required to make selections and nominations shall do so within fifteen days after receiving that notice. Each selectee and nominee shall be appointed by the Mayor within ten days after he/she receives the nominations. If the appointing authority fails to make a nomination within the time specified, the Mayor may select and appoint a person without a nomination. (Ord. 83-6 § 3 (part), 1983).
