Title 2 ADMINISTRATION AND PERSONNEL
Chapter 2.20 BLOOMINGTON BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS
2.20.090 Special nonreverting operating fund.
The special nonreverting operating fund authorized under Indiana Code
36-10-4-16 is continued. Fees collected for lessons, leagues or special
entrepreneurial programs or activities, where a contractual employee is
necessary or a non-reusable supply is required to provide the service, may be
deposited into this fund to pay for the services required to offer the program.
Admission fees from golf courses, swimming pools, skating rinks or other similar
facilities requiring major expenditures for management and maintenance shall not
be deposited into this fund, but instead shall be deposited in the general fund.
Expenditures by the board from this special nonreverting operating fund shall be
disbursed only on approved claims allowed and signed by the president and
secretary of the board. At the end of each year, the controller shall, if
directed by the board, transfer all or a portion of any surplus moneys in this
fund to the parks and recreation general fund. (Ord. 99-09 § 1, 1999: Ord.
86-20 § 1 (part), 1986).
