Chapter 2.04 COMMON COUNCIL
2.04.410 Motion for the previous question.
The motion for the previous question shall only be admitted when demanded
by a two-thirds vote, and until it is decided, shall preclude all further
amendments and debate of the main question. The effect of the previous question
shall be to bring the council to a vote on the immediate question under
discussion. (Ord. 79-97 § 2 (part), 1979).
