On Monday April 8, 2024, at approximately 3:04 p.m., a total solar eclipse pass over the City of Bloomington on its path from Mexico through the U.S. to the maritime provinces of Canada. The City of Bloomington is ideally situated for optimal viewing in the very center of the path of totality.

Solar eclipse viewing glasses are $2/pair ($2.25/pair if paying with a credit or debit card). Glasses are available while supplies last!
The Parks and Recreation office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
